What is a Professional Organizer?
A Professional Organizer provides ideas, information, solutions, systems, products, and hands-on assistance to those who need help with getting and staying organized. A professional organizer also guides, encourages, and educates clients about basic principles of organizing by offering support, focus, and direction. As a result, productivity is increased, stress is reduced and control over time, space and activities is gained.

How much will this cost me?
Each organizing project is unique based on geographic location, type of organizing service(s), and number to spaces to be organized. In order to provide you with an estimate for your specific project, schedule an Initial Consultation with Organized Lifestyle, LLC.

How long will it take to get me organized?
There is no set answer as each organizing project is different. The length of a project depends primarily on the size of your home or office, the amount of clutter and items to be organized and how easy or difficult it is for you to make decisions. In order to provide you with an estimate of the amount of time your project will take, Organized Lifestyle, LLC will meet with you at your home or office to conduct an initial assessment.

What can I expect during an Initial Consultation?
During the Initial Consultation, you will get to meet one-on-one with the Professional Organizer. You will be asked to show your space to be organized and describe the problem areas you have encountered. We will review with you the steps and process for completing your project, as well as, thoroughly explain all fees and expenses. 

What can I expect during an Organizing Session?
During your Organizing Session, we will work side by side to sort, purge, and categorize items. Then we will organize the remaining items to make the best use of the space you have and allow access to the things you need, use, and love.

What supplies should I purchase before an Organizing Session?
Many clients who purchase organizing supplies before a session end up with more clutter. After the weeding and sorting process, we will have an accurate idea of which supplies are needed. While organizing, we will make a list of any needed supplies and you can shop on your own, I can shop for you, or we can shop together.

What if I'm afraid or embarrassed about my situation?
Working with a Professional Organizer may seem intimidating but it is not at all. Everyone thinks their situation is much worse than it actually is. Organizers are here to help, not judge. Organizers are trained to deal with the worst of all situations and can envision the end result even before it is achieved!

Will you make me throw away all my "stuff"?
Nothing will be thrown away or donated without your permission. A Professional Organizer is there to ask questions, make observations, and offer suggestions to help you decide what is or is not important to you. Ultimately, you are the final decision-maker. Remember true organization means equipping and arranging a space in a manner that suits your individual lifestyle.

Do you do the work or do you tell me how to do it?
This is a personal decision based on your needs and budget. While some clients prefer working alongside their organizers others just need direction and an action plan to get them going. Organized Lifestyle, LLC provides both hands-on organization and consultation-only services. Together we can decide what plan will best meet your needs.

I am a very private person. Will our sessions be confidential?
Absolutely! Organized Lifestyle, LLC is aware of the high level of trust placed in us by our clients. We never do or say anything to breach that trust. Integrity, honesty, and confidentiality are our guiding principles.

What geographic area do you serve and how far out are you willing to travel?
Organized Lifestyle, LLC primarily serves the Central Florida area. We are available to travel outside of the area for a nominal travel fee. If you are located outside of our service or travel area, we can refer you to one of our qualified and experiences professional organizer partners residing in your residential area.

Can you provide me with references?
Yes. References are available upon request.
